Youth Aviation Adventure (YAA) is a fast paced single day event held at Big Bear Airport for kids age 11 to 17. At YAA, you will visit 10 different stations to learn about different facets of aviation. Scouts will earn their Aviation Merit Badge.
The Big Bear Airport Pilots Association has hosted five YAA events in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and our latest in 2018.
Where? The Big Bear Airport – 501 Valley Blvd. Big Bear City, CA.
When? August 15, 2020 **Due to COVID-19, the 2020 event has been canceled. Please visit us in August, 2022**
Why? To have fun and for Scouts to earn the Aviation Merit Badge.
Leaders: You could combine this activity with a camp out. Arrive one day in advance, camp at a public or Scout campground and attend the YAA on Saturday.
